ABHAYAM ANNUAL DAY CELABRATIONS

Dear Team,
We have just one day left to celebrate the most memorable event till date for ABHAYAM.
ABHAYAM is going to be one year Young.
As a part of this celebration, we are planning to spend this day in a memorable manner
We are going to spend 24th of June Sunday at VARGAL.....
Hmm some details of the place...
It has a 600 years old shiva temple which even till has to be reached only by crawling into the hillock. its belived that the linga over there is a swayambhu and also has a eternal water flow beside it with which worship is done.
it has a saraswathi devi and saneshwara temples which were established by kanchikamakoti peetacharya.
There is a vedic pathasala also associated with the temple.there are currently 60 students who are learning over there.
The best part of the pathasala is that they pick up poor brahmin students from all over the state and teach them.
They invited us to spend some amount of time with the students and join them for lunch as well.
We may be involved in some voluntary services inside the temple premises if interested.
Then we are going to do tree plant around the hill near the temple.
Oh did i forget about the hill...its in shape of the face of an elephant,the trunk,teeth and eyes visisble... must watch.
Once these trees are planted by us the temple authorities will take care of their regular maintenance.
The temple authorities were very much pleased by the concept and are planning to arrange a "ashirwadam session" with the veda pathasala students.
